Utah Residents

Residential electric customers residing in Utah who purchase electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 1, 2, or 3 qualify.

Landlords who own rental properties where tenants are billed on rate schedules 1, 2 or 3 also qualify.

What information will I need to provide?

  • Rocky Mountain Power account number
  • Service address exactly as shown on bill

Additional Requirements

  • Must be an existing home, not new construction
  • For individually owned/owner-occupied high-rise units, please contact program staff for approval (Utah only)
  • Homes are eligible for one unit. If applying for two or more units, please contact the program before applying

Multifamily Homes

  • Existing multifamily homes up to three (3) units per foundation qualify (Utah only)
  • Must submit one application per unit

I qualify! What are the
next steps to get my rebate?

Follow these steps to get your rebate

STEP 1

Before submitting, review the rebate specific requirements for which you are applying for and work with your program-eligible contractor to ensure your system meets all requirements.

Note: Equipment and service work may be inspected for compliance.

STEP 2

Required documents

Work with your contractor to collect the following:

  • Online application, completed and submitted
  • Digital image of itemized receipt or contractor's invoice
  • AHRI certificate

How do I apply?

  • Create an account in the online portal
  • Complete all fields and upload required documents
  • Submit within 180 days (Utah)
  • Submit within 90 days (Idaho/Wyoming)

When will I get my rebate?

Your rebate will be issued within 14 business days after we review and approve your application.

Log in to your Rocky Mountain Power rebate account to check status or start a new application.

Rebates are associated with the most recent tariff filing approved by the Utah Public Service Commission. All rebates are subject to change with 45 days' notice.
