Use ceiling fans to help distribute cool air. Be sure to set them to a counterclockwise rotation in the summer.

Raise your air conditioner thermostat by a few degrees when you’re away. While at home, set your thermostat as high as comfortable – we recommend 78º F or higher. Use a smart thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature.
