Use Countertop Appliances to Cook. A toaster oven, convection oven and air fryer use one-third to one-half as much energy as a full-sized oven, and slow cookers are very efficient when making soups or stews.

Starting today, there is only one peak hour time period: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. All other hours will be considered off peak. Avoid charging your electric vehicle and using other equipment during peak hours.

In honor of Memorial Day, all hours of May 26, 2025, will be considered off peak for the EV Time of Use rate.

In honor of Independence Day, all hours of July 4, 2025, will be considered off peak for the EV Time of Use rate.

In honor of Pioneer Day, all hours of July 24, 2025, will be considered off peak for the EV Time of Use rate.

In honor of Labor Day, all hours of September 1, 2025, will be considered off peak for the EV Time of Use rate.

Routine maintenance will improve your home’s heating and cooling systems. Also, clean or replace your furnace filters to help air flow through the system more efficiently.
